For a complete botanical approach to cleaning after mould, we recommend these Benefect products:

For Heavy Contamination:

1. Clean surfaces first using Atomic Degreaser Remove all visiable mould and discard.

2. Disinfect Second using Benefect Botanical Disinfectant
This is a ready-to-use fungicide product. Always read and follow the product label instructions. It’s ideal for restoration contractors to disinfect any hard, non-porous surface such as mould contaminated construction materials. It also controls and inhibits odor causing mould and other odor causing organisms on a variety of porous and semi-porous materials including: wood studding, sub floors, trim, lumber, tack strips, concrete and paneling. This product is also suitable for deodorizing such surfaces as carpeting, carpet under-pad and other semi-porous furnishings. Wet the surface with the spray and leave for 10 minutes. Rinsing is not required.


For Light Contamination:

Use Benefect Decon 30 to clean and disinfect (one step). This is a ready-to-use fungicide and mildewstat. Always read and follow the product label instructions. It’s ideal for restoration contractors to disinfect any hard, non-porous surface such as mould contaminated construction materials. It also controls and inhibits odor causing mould and other odor causing organisms on a variety of porous and semi-porous materials including: wood studding, sub floors, trim, lumber, tack strips, concrete and paneling. This product is also suitable for deodorizing such surfaces as carpeting, carpet under-pad and other semi-porous furnishings. Wet the surface with the spray and leave for 10 minutes. Rinsing is not required.

Benefect Corp. recommends using an IICRC Certified Mold Remediation Contractor who is trained in proper cleaning and removal producedures. These must be followed to safely remove all toxicity. Cleaning and killing mould are only one part of the remediation process. Proper containment, hepa vacuming and air filtration are also nessasary as indicated by the IICRC S520 Guideline
